Much of Brad Jones’s professional work at the firm centers on providing business valuations, financial accounting, auditing and managerial accounting consulting services. He also has extensive experience working with new ventures, including services for entity selection, setting up accounting systems and controls, advising on governance provisions, assisting with obtaining financing and advising on an appropriate capital structure.
In addition, Brad frequently works with clients’ attorneys on drafting appropriate buy-sell and other agreements, helps clients with succession planning and devises tax-efficient exit strategies for retiring owners, and consults with clients on negotiations and managing due diligence activities in mergers and acquisitions transactions. He has also provided expert witness testimony in contested business valuation cases.
A licensed Certified Public Accountant in Virginia, Brad has also earned the Certified Management Accountant (CMA), the Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) designations.
